Pink Sand Ceramics
I am Laura. Ceramics entered my life during childhood and has been with me ever since. After finishing school, I enrolled at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, completed a bachelor's degree in ceramics, and founded Pink Sand Ceramics after graduation. This brand has been alive for three years now, and during this time, it has found its audience and completely filled both my life and my heart. I am very happy with what I do and what I create; my work is full of color, vitality, and joy, and I take pride in being able to bring all of this into people's lives.
Almost every day of mine starts and ends in the studio, surrounded by clay and creativity. The studio is almost always chaotic with several tasks being worked on simultaneously. The daily work process might seem somewhat monotonous to many, but I enjoy it. I like doing many of the same things over and over and seeing them improve. One of the greatest results of my work is seeing that each year, the same objects look better and better.
My collections come about very organically, often unexpectedly for me. The last few collections emerged when I allowed myself more freedom to try and experiment.
